Program Eligibility and Selection
Up to 20 students who are currently high school sophomores or juniors will
be selected for the program. They should have an aptitude in mathematics and
science as well as an interest in pursuing science or engineering studies.
This program is restricted to Massachusetts residents who are U.S. citizens
or permanent residents who have an alien registration card with photograph.
This is not a residential program.
Students are expected to be on campus Monday through Thursday,
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They are responsible for their daily
commute to Northeastern University during the program.
Applications are evaluated based on materials listed in the checklist;
no previous work or study experience in a program of this nature is required.
No application will be reviewed until complete, as noted in
the checklist.
Applications received after the deadline may not be reviewed.
Accepted students will receive notification by April 17, 2008
and must return a signed commitment letter and health form
prior to the start of the program. Due to the intensity
of the program, we cannot make provision for vacation or
personal time during the program except under extreme circumstances.
